Could your business benefit from cutting edge technology? Are you looking to take your business to the next level?
Why not contact Conservative led Wiltshire Council who can help manage your payroll processes in a simpler, quicker and easier way thanks to a recently launched virtual assistant (VA).
The VA, the second launched as part of the council's digital transformation programme, manages three HR payroll inboxes and saves queries to a centralised server, where the team are quickly able to pick them up and action. This provides a significant time saving benefit meaning capacity can be used to support other work, including generating more income for the council and delivering savings.
The launch of the VA ties in perfectly with National Payroll Week (2-6 September), which raises the profile and awareness of payroll in the UK.
James and Clare in the HR Payroll team at Wiltshire Council said: "Working on the inbox was a time consuming and repetitive task which the team managed every day. Our VA has streamlined the way we work, so the team has more capacity to ensure our payrolls run smoothly and enables staff to take on other work."
Ian Blair-Pilling, Conservative Councillor and Cabinet Member for IT and Digitalisation, said: "This is yet another exciting development at Wiltshire Council.
"New, exciting, streamlining technology is a key part of our strategy and will shape how we deliver our services in the future, in the most cost-effective and efficient way for Wiltshire residents and businesses.
"We are an innovative council, and we plan to capitalise on further technological advancements to deliver our business plan. Our staff have been enthusiastic in embracing these opportunities and are excited about the changes it will bring to the way they work.''
This technology is available to help other businesses work more proactively and efficiently. You can read more about the first VA launched on the Wiltshire Council website.
