The Wiltshire electorate has been confirmed for the upcoming elections on 6 May.
In total, 381,454 people from the Wiltshire Council area are registered to have their say in the upcoming unitary, town and parish, and Police and Crime Commissioner elections – all which take place on 6 May. There are also a number of neighbourhood plan referendums.
Of the total electorate, 70,733 are registered to vote by post. If you want to appoint someone to vote on your behalf (a proxy) you need to complete an application form that must be received by the Returning Officer by 5pm on 27 April. Forms can be scanned and emailed to [email protected] or posted to County Hall, Trowbridge. More information can be found online.
Postal vote packs are currently being sent out to people who have applied to vote by post. Please post these back as soon as possible when you have received them, rather than wait until polling day and attending the polling station to hand them in.
A list of candidates can be found on the Wiltshire Council election pages:

Measures will be in place at the polling stations to keep you as safe as possible while you vote, including hand sanitiser available, one way system, protective screens at the check-in desk. Please also remember to bring your own pen or pencil to vote and a mask (unless you're exempt).
