The general election is taking place on Thursday 4 July, and the polls will be open from 7am - 10pm.
- You have until midnight on 18 June to register to vote if you’re not registered already - please don't leave it too late
- You have until 5pm on 19 June to apply for a postal vote (postal vote packs to new applicants sent out around 10 days before polling day, so if you're not likely to be around at that point, you may wish to apply for a proxy vote)
- You have until 5pm on 26 June to apply for a proxy vote (for someone to vote on your behalf)
- You have until 5pm on 26 June If you want to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate (if you don’t have photo ID
If you've registered to vote and not received your general election poll card yet, conservative led Wiltshire Council will be sending them out over the next couple of days, so please keep an eye out. You don’t need it to vote, but it contains lots of useful information including your polling station and voter ID guidance.
