The general election is taking place on Thursday 4 July, and the polls will be open from 7am - 10pm.
The deadlines have now passed to register to vote, apply for a postal/proxy vote and apply for a Voter Authority Certificate.
When returning your postal vote please read the instructions carefully just to avoid paperwork having to be re-sent because of any issues. Please check the FAQ link below for more information. Please post your postal vote back as quickly as possible. If you were planning on handing your postal vote in at your local polling station on 4 July, then please be mindful they will be very busy and there will be paperwork to complete. So, for ease, please post your postal vote if you can.
Please remember to take photo ID with you, as without this, you'll be unable to vote.
